Literally, “This Just caught my eye” – at Music City Roots Live from the Loveless Barn in Nashville, Wednesday night June 18, 2014.
I was there to photograph the last show of “Roots” at the Loveless (the show is relocating to The Factory in Franklin next month). I was mostly photographing the audience (album here) when this magnificent masterpiece of art-on-flesh, literally, caught my eye.
Her name is Ashley Kohrs. She and her husband Randy operate the Slack Key Studios here in Nashville. I asked her if she would allow me to make a photo of her back in the foreground with the stage in the background (James Intveld performing). She graciously agreed and I got what is my favorite photo from that evening. Thanks, Ashley and Randy, for the shot.
